Final Cut - Deep Into the Cut

Available for the first time in its entirety on vinyl is the 1989 debut album by Detroit industrial techno band Final Cut produced by Anthony Srock and Jeff Mills. Remastered in Berlin by Rashad Becker the release presents the full album as a double vinyl release for the first time.

Recorded prior to Mills’ departure from the project Deep Into The Cut marks a significant moment in the convergence of the classic industrial aesthetic and the emerging sound of Detroit techno in the late 80’s. The release serves as a window into this unique moment evoking both the transgressive spirit of European industrial music and the raw militant power channeled into the early releases of Underground Resistance. The album creates a forceful and irreverent meeting point of these two worlds and across the eleven tracks affronts a message of sonic urgency, still standing as a landmark statement of the industrial techno sound.
